SnapShell IDR is a revolutionary 3 Megapixel color camera unit, which allows quick image capturing of any standard size (8.5 x 5.5cm) plastic cards such as IDs, Drivers licenses, health insurance cards and other small documents. SnapShell IDR has a unique design to provide small footprint and ease of use. The camera is powered via a single USB 2.0 port and includes a special optical sensor that detects when a card is being placed on the glass area then automatically captures an image within one second.

Using standard TWAIN driver SnapShell IDRN operates with every Windows scanning software such as Photoshop, Office Picture Manager, and others.

Note: SnapShell IDRN is not compatible with our IDscan/SDK OCR software, to collect information from ID cards, Drivers licenses etc. see our IDscan technology.
