Personal Documents Reader (also known as ScanShell.Net) is a powerful ready to use package of card scanners and Software, with an advanced built-in database, that scans a variety of personal documents such as driver licenses, ID cards, passports, business cards, health insurance cards and so on.
Personal Documents Reader allows to scan and store textual information and images from one or both sides of an ID card, as well as barcodes and magnetic information. It provides clear view of the scanned card image and the extracted textual information, arranged in the appropriate fields of a powerful and flexible database. The data and images can be sorted, retrieved according to various search criteria, printed in various formats, and easily exported to other applications such as email, FTP or the web. In addition, the database is packed with advanced features allowing to add notes and categories, automated rules, and more.
Setting up within minutes the unique image processing and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology together with the state-of-the-art man-machine interface allow to simply place an identification document of your occasional customer and promptly having all the textual information, as well as the document image, in the built-in database while saving the need for long manual typing process ,high rate of human errors and the unnecessary process of photocopying and archiving of documents.

The following spec. represents the minimum recommended spec. for smooth operation of Personal Document Reader system:

Use our Software is subject but not limited to the following terms:

- Unless otherwise stated in the specific Software license agreement all software are made to be installed and to be used on a single PC and Card Scanning Solutions's provided Hardware is to be connected to the PC for the entire period of use.
- For some Software a trial version is available for a limited period and/or limited use according to specific Software license agreement.
