ID Cards Reader - All in One

 

IDScan full page passport reader and ID card reader is an easy-to-use, fully integrable passport scan package that scans Passports, Visa, or personal ID cards, regardless of its background colours or fonts, and extract all the textual information by performing our advanced image processing and OCR technology.  The extracted information is being stored in a text file in a specific sequence for easy integration to any database application.

 

IDScan passport reader collects data from any standard ICAO9303 passport as well as from any ID Card or driver's license (not only from the MRZ code at the bottom of the ID cards, but also extract all the data from the actual printed text).  In addition to the textual data, IdScan automatically capture and store the following image files:

 

  1. Full ID/Passport image.

  2. Face image.

  3. Signature image (from ID cards). 
 

* All the images are uniquely identified by getting the card holder's name or ID number.

 IDScan incorporates the latest OCR (Optical Characters Recognition) technology in Image Processing and Field Identification to read and identify the information on the Driving License/ID card.

The IDScan application has an OCR system that is pre-trained to recognize and interpret a wide variety of font types on ID cards.

After the OCR begins reading the text information, the application uses its intelligent engine to correctly place the text data into the appropriate fields such as: ID Number, Name, Address, Issue Date, Expiration Date and Date of Birth.
