DocShell is a custom-made, fully integrable data collection software, which extracts specific textual information from documents of any size, colors, fonts etc. such as vehicle registration license, insurance documents, reports, or any other forms with a predefined fixed format.

DocShell software is processing a single form or a large batch of scanned images, quickly and accurately, and extract the printed textual information as well as images from those documents.

By performing the advanced image processing together with cutting-edge OCR technology, DocShell system is able to filter-out background interference such as chart lines, colors and wide range of fonts in order to provide the user with top data accuracy.

DocShell premier technology uniquely identifies the extracted data in order to allow instant storage of the information to the relevant field of your database. To do that the system 'learn' the documents structure and create a template of each different format.

DocShell incorporates the latest Optical Characters Recognition (OCR) technology in Image Processing
and Field Identification for data extraction from various forms and documents.

Our advanced image processing and OCR engine is trained to recognize and interpret a wide
variety of printed text in to useful digital information regardless of the documents font types,
background colors, charts, lines and other visual obstacles, where top accuracy is our main goal.

After performing several layers of image processing and OCR, the application uses its intelligent logical
engine to fix errors and to correctly place the data into the appropriate fields of the database.

The following spec. represents the minimum recommended spec. for smooth operation of DocShell system:

  • MS Windows 2000, XP, Vista
  • Pentium 2.0GHz or equivalent
  • 256MB of DRAM
  • 60MB free disk space (more for keeping scanned images)
  • USB port
  • CD-ROM drive
  • SVGA monitor with true color and at least 1024x768 pixels
