IdScan system consists of a compact scanner (pass-through, flatbed or camera) and software. The system is based on advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology and designed to quickly and accurately extract all the textual information from thousands of pre-defined documents.

Although it may seem simple, and in some way trivial, ID Scan technology includes a number of unique algorithms, which allow complicated documents to be automatically detected and analyzed within seconds in order to accurately extract the desired textual information and images from it. Unlike other OCR based system, IdScan system “learn” the specific pattern of each scanned document and when a similar document is being scanned. It automatically detects the type of document and uniquely identifies each bit of information in order to be stored in the right fields of the user database.

Our systems are capable of extracting textual information from all documents regardless of its background colors, font type, size or shape (include bright text over dark background and other optical obstacles), and provides up to 99.9 percent data accuracy, while most other OCR software would provide around 70 - 80 percent accuracy for such complicated documents.
